'Crussoliceras' Ammonite Original Drawing
£575.00
Living right next to the famous Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, has instilled in me a love and fascination with fossils of all kinds - in particular, the beautiful ammonite. These prehistoric cephalopods, extinct for many millions of years, have left behind the most visually stunning reminders of their existence.
This particular ammonite, Crussoliceras, dates back to the Kimmeridgian age of the Jurassic period and is currently on display in the Etches Collection Museum of Jurassic Marine Life in Kimmeridge, Dorset (after which the geological age was named).
An original coloured pencil drawing made with the highest quality materials, 'Crussoliceras' measures 10 x 10 inches and comes unframed.
